Measure the Dado Rail

Your dado rail should be fitted between 1 and 1.2 metres from the floor. Use the Template to measure the internal or external angles of the walls, where your dado rail will be placed, in the same way as instructed for cutting coving, set the pivoting workpiece holders and lock them both in position.

Position the Dado Rail

When placing the dado rail into the locked workpiece holder, the material that is to be fitted to the wall to the left-hand side of the mitre joint should be placed for cutting in the left-hand hand locked workpiece holder.

Position the dado rail into the locked workpiece holder as shown in fig 10.
